SUP Yoga

Enjoy the tranquility of a Sunday morning under the skies of Vangsvatnet Lake in our weekly class led by Ylva, our experienced and certified yoga instructors and founder of www.vossyoga.no.

 

The class consists of Vinyasa Yoga sequences with sun salutations on SUP-Yoga boards that flow into breathing techniques, balance postures, lengthening and strengthening poses, and even a little play time on the boards in the end of the lesson. Don’t’ worry about drifting away, your big, stable Yoga-board will have an anchor and we will be practicing on still, calm water. Ylva gives varieties of every yoga pose, so that everyone can push themselves to where they feel comfortable.

 

 It’s always a possibility to fall in the water, and that’s all part of the fun. We are practicing our SUP Yoga only a short paddle away from the Voss Flow pier, where we keep towels and other personal belongings. Classes depend upon the weather conditions of lake, so check with us to book.

 

Come prepared to get wet and tap into your core strength!

Classes are 90 minutes and include all of the equipment you need (board, paddle, wetsuit, life jacket, and anchor).  Those with their own gear are welcome to join, as well.

Every Sunday  08:30 -10:00

Place:

Vangsvatnet, at the Voss Flow pier.

Clothing:

Regular training clothes. There is a chance of falling into the water, so bring along a dry change of clothes.

Wetsuits are included in the price of class if needed. 

Requirements for participants:

No experience necessary

Must be able to swim

Minimum age of 12

Payment is required to reserve your spot

Minimum of 3 participants (by Saturday evening at 20:00)

24 hour cancellation policy

Same day cancellations and/or no shows will not be offered a make-up class or refund.

If classes are cancelled due to weather or water conditions, a full refund will be provided.
